Just wanting to understand the use of H5 for the Nav items in the main navigation menu. My understanding for screen readers is that headings need to be sequential H1 > H2 > H3 > H4 > H5 to ensure a screen reader can navigate between them correctly.
However if these nav items are H5 at the top of the screen, then I am unsure how this would work.

It’s using the H5 styling in the Figma library, but we can confirm that they are standard list items <li> in the code build implementation -
Thank you for this. Makes sense. I thought they would just be Body Strong instead of H5 if they are not being used as actual headers as the style is the same.
